NAVY

Assurance Technology Corporation, Carlisle, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $29,609,752 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for ground station development and support for the Naval Center for Space Technology. Work will be performed in Carlisle, Massachusetts (75%), and Washington, D.C. (25%), and is expected to be completed by March 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $442,800 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 67 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00014-95-C-2068).

Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, is being awarded a $50,000,000 (base year) not-to-exceed indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-award-fee contract for multi-contaminant remedial action at various Navy and Marine Corps installations, and other government agency sites, throughout the United States. Work will be performed at various locations in the following states: Maine (20%), Rhode Island (20%), New Hampshire (9%), Massachusetts (9%), Connecticut (9%), New York (9%), New Jersey (9%), Pennsylvania (9%), Vermont (3%), and Delaware (3%), and the contract performance period is not-to-exceed five years. This contract contains four option years, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $250,000,000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 286 proposals solicited and six offers received. The Northern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N62472-94-D-0398).

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Electronics and Systems Integration Division, Electronics and Readiness Support Systems, Great River, New York, is being awarded a $5,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-91-C-0095 for an engineering change proposal to upgrade one E-2C aircraft tactics trainer to the Group II configuration. Work will be performed in Great River, New York, and is expected to be completed by May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Electronic Systems Group, Baltimore, Maryland, is being awarded a $5,025,186 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to perform a concept study and demonstration of the joint advanced weapons guidance and weapons integration precision targeting capabilities for the Joint Advanced Strike Technology (JAST) Program. The study and demonstration will focus on critical strike warfare targeting and target identification capabilities. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland, and is expected to be completed by July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) and 31 offers were received. The Naval Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity (N68936-95-K-0185).

Sechan Electronics, Inc., Lititz, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $5,756,720 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-6153 for the procurement of additional MK 39 Expendable Mobile Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Targets (EMATT) production units, engineering services, support, and data. Work will be performed in Lititz, Pennsylvania (70%), and Braintree, Massachusetts (30%), and is expected to be completed by December 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Brown & Root, Gaithersburg, Maryland, was awarded on March 17, 1995, an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of a $10,000,000 cost plus fixed fee/firm fixed price contract to perform hazardous toxic and radioactive waste services. Work will be performed at various Department of Defense sites, and is expected to be completed by March 18, 2000. There was a broad agency announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on April 26, 1994, and 5 bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama (DACA01-95-D-0017).

United Defense Limited Partnership, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, California, is being awarded a $9,037,861 modification to a cost plus fixed fee contract to exercise partial option for system technical support (contract line option) for Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems. Work will be performed in San Jose, California, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 1995. Of the total contract funds, $1,247,528 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated in October 1992. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-90-C-A011).

Bell Helicopter Textron, Incorporated, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $25,672,213 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 16 OH-68D Kiowa Warrior Helicopters. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on January 5, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-94-C-0145).

AIR FORCE

Racal Communications, Incorporated, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded $7,683,000 (not-to exceed) firm-fixed-price contract for 45 line items of spare parts for the Scope Shield II tactical deployable radio. The work will be performed in Rockville, Maryland. Contract is expected to be completed in June 1996. Contracts funds of $3,841,500 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One bid was solicited and one proposal was received. The solicitation date was issued February 1995 and negotiations were completed March 1995. The Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (F04606-95-C-0139).

Martin Marietta Technologies, Incorporated, Littleton, Colorado, is being awarded a face value increase to a $26,600,000 fixed-price-incentive contract for replacement of 3 Delco Guidance Units applicable to the Titan IV launch vehicle. The work will be performed at Littleton, Colorado (10%), and Goleta, California (90%). Contract is expected to be completed March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (F04701-85-C-0019, P01305).

Lockheed Corporation, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a face value increase to a $8,084,363 firm-fixed-price contract for recurring manufacturing support for production of 17 F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed August 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Pakistan. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson, Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-88-C-0037/P00809).
