ARMY

California Microwave - Airborne Systems Integration Division, Belcamp, Md., is being awarded a $12,298,435 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for definitization for purchase and installation of A-Kits (surveillance equipment) into two Airborne Reconnaissance Low Multi-function (ARL-M) aircraft. Work will be performed in Hagerstown, Md. (90%); and Belcamp, Md. (10%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were ten bids solicited on Jan. 31, 1990, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB10-90-C-7068).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Envirocare of Utah Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah, is being awarded a delivery order amount of $505,300 as part of a not-to-exceed $100,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for receipt and disposal of low-level radioactive and mixed waste contaminated soil and debris. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 5, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 31 bids solicited on Sept. 18, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACW41-98-D-9003).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Missile and Space, Sunnyvale, Calif. is being awarded a $518,872,579 ($481,230,836 cost-plus-incentive-fee and $37,641,743 cost-plus-fixed-fee) level-of-effort modification to previously awarded contract N00030-97-C-0100. This contract provides funding for the FY 98 TRIDENT II (D5) missile, Production and Deployed System Support (P&DSS), and related service efforts for the U.S. Navy (73.4%) and the United Kingdom (26.6%). Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif. (54.7%), Salt Lake City, Utah (17.6%), Kings Bay, Ga.

(9.6%), Clearwater, Fla. (7.0%), Bangor, Wash. (4.4%), Baltimore, Md. (1.2%), and other locations. Work is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $220,592,254 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, VA., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass. is being awarded a $13,536,331 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00030-97-G-0042. This contract provides for a transition from the development phase to the production phase for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) TRIDENT II Fire Control MK 98 modification 4/5 system, for the U.S. Navy (86%) and the United Kingdom (14%). Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, VA., is the contracting activity.
