ARMY

Hughes Aircraft Co., El Segundo, Calif., was awarded on Nov. 26, 1997, $3,538,659 as part of a $28,442,312 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for integrated logistic support services for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Tube-launched Optically Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) Subsystems. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 25, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-98-C-0056).

Lockheed Martin Vought Systems, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded $12,750,000 as part of a $25,500,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for initial production facilities/purchase of special equipment and tooling for the PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3). Work will be performed in Duluth, Ga. (57%); and Dallas, Texas (43%), and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 13, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-98-C-0061).

NAVY

Hughes Aircraft Co., Weapons Systems Segment, Naval & Maritime Systems, Fullerton, Calif., is being awarded a $37,389,438 firm-fixed-price contract for the production of the

FY 97/98 AN/UYQ-21 (V) Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS) equipment for various ships for U.S. Navy (75%) and the government of Spain (25%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $83,321,847. Work will be performed in Fullerton, Calif. (85.5%), and Forest, Miss. (14.5%), and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-98-C-5416).

Vitro Corp., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $31,217,975 cost-plus-fixed-fee level-

of-effort contract to provide technical services to support the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) associated with system integration, support for the TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) programs in implementing interface control programs and performing special technical investigations. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $23,669,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
