Stan Livingston

  

Stan Livingston is an Soil Scientist with the USDA Agricultural Research Service at the National Soil Erosion Research Laboratory, located on the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. Stan received his B.S. and M.S. degrees Purdue University.

Current Work

  •  In June of 1999 Stan was assigned to the basic research section at the NSERL where he was prior to October 1991. He is heavily involved in the field research arena dealing with soil amendments for reducing soil loss by water. From October, 1991 through June 1999, Stan was envolved exclusively in the development, verification, and testing of the Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) hillslope and watershed erosion model computer code. He has also worked on development of WEPP interfaces (both ARS and NRCS [formerly SCS]), and assisted in the creation of a WEPP CD-ROM to include a multimedia training program.
