Southern Coastal Plain Study Unit

The Southern Coastal Plain study unit consists of 3 major study areas:

  • Central Basin
  • West Coast Basin
  • Coastal Plain of Orange County.

Other study areas include the Santa Monica and Hollywood Subbasins. All five study areas are within Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Well sampling will take place during August and September of 2006. Approximately 80 wells will be sampled.
