Description:

The National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign Parents@Work Web site provides employers with free resources designed for use in the workplace to help educate parents about strategies for preventing youth from using drugs. Distributing such information benefits employees and their families and helps alleviate the serious workplace problems, such as decreased morale and productivity, that can arise when an employee’s child uses drugs.

The Parents@Work Web site includes the following features:

  • A broad selection of Campaign materials including brochures, posters, flyers and online resources that can be incorporated into already-established employee communication channels.  Resources are formatted for electronic or hard copy distribution.
  • A variety of youth drug prevention articles that can be included in employee newsletters or placed on an organization's Intranet.
  • Parents@Work News -- an opt in email newsletter sent directly to subscribers' email boxes that features customized site content or new site features.
  • Links to search for local drug-prevention resources
  • Links to Parents@Work partners' Web sites.
