2001 TRI State Fact Sheets
The 2001 Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) State Fact Sheets report (EPA 260-F-03-002) summarizes TRI data for each state. In addition, the report provides a general overview of TRI and the 2000 TRI data, a description of the information included in the state fact sheet, and national data summary tables. This report provides a detailed analysis of TRI data reported by facilities in each state (including the persistent bioaccumulative toxic (PBT) chemicals newly added to TRI in the 2001 reporting year). EPA provides this type of analysis as a snapshot of each state's releases and other waste management data.
This document serves as a companion volume to EPA's 2001 TRI Public Data Release report. The 2001 Public Data Release report provides a more detailed examination of TRI data for 2001 and previous years.
