Strength in Numbers

For the past twenty years the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has partnered with Tufts University, Boston, MA, to conduct important research on nutrition as it relates to aging.  To this end they established and Tufts University operated the USDA Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA).  The establishment of a formal cooperative agreement in 1998-1999 strengthened a partnership that has resulted in major strides in understanding aging's effects on nutrition and nutritional impact on aging.  On this site you can learn about the ARS staff at Boston and the research we fund, including publications and articles on that research.

To learn more about the Tufts University contributions at the HNRCA, please click here to be directed to the Tufts HNRCA site.  It will open in a new window to make it easy for you to switch between the two sites.
