There is a wide range of wetlands and related aquatic resources in EPA's Pacific Southwest Region. We work to protect and improve these resources in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, states, and tribes. Our chief regulatory tool is section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA). Through our wetlands grants programs, we help other public agencies and non-governmental organizations improve their ability to protect and improve these valuable resources.
You will find a comprehensive source of wetlands information at the national EPA wetlands Web site.
