Office of Policy and Management
The Office of Policy and Management provides the Environmental Science Center with:
- computer support
- physical security
- health and safety support
- environmental management
- facility operations and maintenance
- janitorial and mail service
- conference room coordination
- government vehicle fleet management, and
- landscaping services
New employees are given a comprehensive welcome package and participate in an orientation session on safety, health, security and our Environmental Management System.
Among our several support contractors are Goodwill Industries and the Baltimore Association for Retarded Citizens, which provide janitorial and landscaping services to the facility.
We are proud to note that many of our employees are active in community outreach efforts. Red Cross blood drives are supported on a quarterly basis, and throughout the year our employees support Sarah’s House, a homeless shelter located on military property and managed by Anne Arundel County.
