All USP students must CODO (or transfer)
from USP to one of Purdue's 12 colleges and schools in order
to earn their degree. The amount of time a student can remain
in USP depends on how the student came to USP.
Students who begin their college career as freshmen in
USP can remain in USP for up to four semesters (not including
summer school).
Students who come to USP from another college/school at
Purdue or as a readmit, reentry, or transfer student can
take a maximum of 60 credits while in USP or 95 total college
credits, whichever occurs first and is the more limiting.
Credits by exam, transfer credits, Advanced Placement/CEEB
credits, etc. all count toward a student's total credits.
All credits a student attempts while in USP count toward
the total number of credits the student can take as a USP
student.
Click on one of the links located to the upper-left for more information about how a student CODOs, the minimum CODO requirements of the different colleges/schools, and a list of the advising offices on campus.
