Selecting officials should have the opportunity
to make a choice from among an adequate number of well/best qualified candidates who have
been rated based on evaluation of their application package against the qualitative
job-related criteria. The number of candidates referred on a Merrit Promotion Certificate varies. Referrals are made to the selecting officiails in alphabetical order on the selection certificate. Candidates' application packages are included with the certificate. |
