ABSTRACT: The Horizon Digital Library System provides staff of the Senior Management Offices of the Department and staff of the Offices, Boards, and Divisions with access to the holdings of all digitized documents created by the JMD Library Staff. This access is currently provided at all library locations via the Virtual Library site on the Department's DOJNet Intranet and directly through the Digital Library System.

PURPOSE: The Horizon Digital Library System is licensed through SirsiDynix, Inc. for the purpose of providing access to the digitized document holdings of Library Staff.

ACCESS CONSTRAINTS: Access to the Horizon Digital Library System is currently available only in JMD Library Staff locations and through Department desktops via the Justice Department DOJNet Intranet.

AGENCY PROGRAM: The Horizon Digital Library System supports all JMD libraries and their patrons including Senior Management Offices such as the Offices of the Attorney General and Solicitor General and Department personnel.

SOURCES OF DATA: The content of the Horizon Digital Library System is created through the digitization of documents by the JMD Library Staff. These documents include digitized copies of research source materials.
