ACTION: Correction notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: On October 9, 1998, a notice inviting applications for new awards under the Technical Assistance to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities program was published in the Federal Register (63 FR 54546). The list of eligible applicants stated that eligible applicants had to be in Region I. The requirement should state that eligible applicants serve Region I. In addition, ``for-profit organizations'' was inadvertently omitted from the list of eligible applicants for the Regional Resource Center in Region I priority. Note to Applicants: The notice contained closing dates and other information regarding the transmittal of applications for the FY 1999 competition under the Technical Assistance to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities program authorized by IDEA, as amended. This notice corrects the Eligible Applicants section under this priority by stating that eligible applicants serve Region I as further defined in the application notice and by including ``for-profit organizations'' in the listing of eligible applicants. Potential applicants should consult the statement of the final priority published on October 9, 1998 (63 FR 54546) to ascertain the substantive requirements for their applications.
