Dear Mr. Katz, I am a financial adviser in Omaha, NE. I have read the proposal for Point of Sale and Confirmation Disclosure. I am concerned about the potential negative impact this change will have on investors. I believe the complexity of this proposal runs the risk of confusing investors and it will be more of a detriment rather than a clarification. In my opinion, a much better approach would be to add clarification in the prospectus along with streamlining and developing a new prospectus form.
