Following research completion and evaluation of these nutrition intervention studies occurring in the Marvell community, the Delta Obesity Prevention Research Program will identify successful strategies, evaluate the impact of community participation, determine specific characteristics of the community that contributed to success, and evaluate adapted variations to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans with the purpose of a healthier lifestyle.
