Objective:
The objectives of this cooperative research project are to develop more profitable approaches to beef cattle production, provide educational opportunities in livestock and forage management for students enrolled in an agricultural undergraduate program, and expose students to science and agricultural research.

Approach:
New approaches to beef cattle and forage production will be envisioned and jointly evaluated in laboratory and field research. ARS will facilitate educational opportunities in livestock and forage management for students enrolled in an agricultural undergraduate program by lending expertise and sharing access to limited facilities and land, and assist in exposing students to science and agricultural research.
