Traveling Trunks

Traveling Trunk

So you want to to teach your students about the Battle of Stones River, but you can't schedule a field trip or a ranger visit? Why not borrow our traveling trunk and use the same supplies and materials rangers use to present their programs?

The trunk contains materials and lesson plans that allow teachers to present their own classroom activities based on many of the park's lesson plans. If you have a particular lesson in mind, we will make sure you get the equipment you need along with the basic traveling trunk inventory.

The traveling trunk is available to educators on a first-come, first-serve basis. Teachers may pick up the trunk, or we will ship it you. Schools may have to pay part or all of the shipping costs.

The loan duration for the trunk is ten days. Educator's must sign a receipt for the trunk and are responsible for the cost of replacing lost or broken items.

Contact us today to bring the traveling trunk into your classroom.
