Quality Control Parameters for Cefditoren Susceptibility Tests. A series of collaborative studies were conducted to generate data to determine quality control (QC) limits for eight standard QC strains when testing susceptibility to cefditoren by microdilution and disk diffusion methods. NCCLS methods were strictly followed throughout all phases of these studies. Each of ten laboratories generated 50-60 MICs and 60 zone diameters for each QC strain. All tests were very reproducible and the following control limits were proposed: [table: see text]. One laboratory evaluated agar dilution tests and concluded the control limits for microdilution tests also applied to agar dilution tests.
