Updated July 2002 EPA-MOBILENEWS Listserver The EPA-MOBILENEWS listserver is the best and most efficient way to get up-to-date EPA information about issues including: highway vehicle emission factors, the MOBILE and PART and MOVES models, and non-road vehicle emission factors and modeling. We encourage everyone with an interest in these issues to subscribe. Messages to the EPA-MOBILENEWS listserver can be sent only by the EPA staff who manage the list. These messages are sent as needed, but in the past year have averaged about one message per month. To subscribe to the EPA-MOBILENEWS listserver send the following message: subscribe EPA-MOBILENEWS FIRSTNAME LASTNAME where FIRSTNAME and LASTNAME is your name (for example: Fred Flintstone) to the EPA listserver address. The listserver e-mail address is: lyris@lists.epa.gov Your e-mail address will then be added to the list of subscribers and a confirmation message will be sent to your e-mail address. Whenever we post a message to the EPA-MOBILENEWS listserver, a copy of that message will be sent to every person who has subscribed. You cannot reply to messages sent to you by the listserver and you cannot send messages to the others subscribed to the listserver. If you have comments regarding the listserver or any of the messages sent to you by the listserver, please email us at mobile@epa.gov. You can remove yourself from the list by sending another message to the listserver address. This means: Do not attempt to access, change or delete data unless you are authorized to do so. Do not allow others to use your membership/administrative privileges. If you utilize passwords, change the password every 90 days. Use at least 8 characters in the password in an alpha and numeric mix. Passwords should be memorized and not written down. Failure to follow these rules may result in penalties, such as removal from the lists and loss of privileges.
