National News Release: 09-459-NAT U.S. labor secretary to commemorate lives of lost workers during monument groundbreaking ceremony on Worker Memorial Day at National Labor College WASHINGTON -- As a Worker Memorial Day tribute, Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis tomorrow will commemorate men and women who lost their lives on the job during the groundbreaking ceremony for a monument at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, Md.
