Cape Lookout National Seashore
For Teachers

Cape Lookout National Seashore is a great place for students to learn about a wide variety of subjects ranging from barrier island ecology to North Carolina history.

A class field trip is an opportunity to explore on your own or to have a Park Ranger guide your class in their explorations.  Contact the park to arrange for a ranger-led program

If your school is unable to come to Cape Lookout National Seashore, we can send the park to you in a trunk. Traveling trunks are filled with hands-on activities and curriculum guides for fun and easy teaching in the classroom.

For students looking for help with projects, we have placed copies of our free park brochures on this site. Other information may be found throughout this website or students may email the park to ask a specific question.
