The thirty-year relationship between Eaton Corporation and SAE International continues to be strong, providing a venue and developing future engineers. 45 teams registered for the 2009 competition, the largest in recent memory. Teams from all over the world including Canada, India and Bahrain competed in the two-day high mileage event.

SAE is conducting a "This is Our SAE!" Video Contest! We are looking for enthusiastic, creative members to develop a video that demonstrates what you value in your involvement in SAE. The contest is open to active collegiate chapters and SAE sections.

This year, SAE is raffling off an iPod to those students who complete our post-event surveys. An email is sent to all affiliated participants after the close of the events with a link to the survey, so be sure to add yourself to your team and complete our survey! There will be a section for students to enter the drawing by submitting their name and email address (refer to question #20 when taking the survey). Only 1 iPod will be raffled to all entered CDS participants.
2009 Supermileage Certificates of Participation - ACTION REQUIRED

The Supermileage Organizing Committee is once again producing Certificates of Participation for the 2009 competition. In order to ensure your team receives these personalized certificates during the event, we need the Team Captains to send a list of how many certificates are needed for their team as well as a list of all team members names. Please submit this information to Samantha Higgs at shiggs@sae.org. We will need this information by Friday, February 27, 2009. PLEASE NOTE, if you do not submit a list of names on or before this date, they will not be supplied to your team.
REMINDER - Registration & Engine Order Deadline

Don't forget that the online registration deadline for the 2009 SAE Supermileage event is Monday, December 22, 2008 at 11:59 PM (23:59) Eastern Standard Time. All engine orders must be placed online before this deadline as well.
