DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

I serve as the team leader of the Location Support Unit of NPARL. I am responsible for contracting, purchasing, budget, accounting, personnel, receiving and facility management. Working with a great team, we support the agency mission, goals, and objectives by providing administrative functions regarding travel, recruitment, effective use of funds, employee development and benefits, and asset management.

EXPERIENCE

I acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Great Falls, Great Falls, MT after spending 13 years on the retail side of the oilfields of Northwestern Montana. Managing a chain of Oilfield Supply stores I gained experience in purchasing and delivery, human resource management, inventory management, collections, payables, and customer service. After college, I managed the Eastern Regional Business Office for Cenex/Harvest States Cooperative for 4 years, was an auditor for 1st Bank in Sidney, MT for 2 years, was hired as the business manager for Eastmont Human Services of Glendive, MT until the legislature closed the facility to streamline resources by increasing capacities at another facility. I then took on the task of establishing services for a newly created Boys and Girls Club in Sidney before I began my career with the Federal Government. In August 2004, I accepted the position of accounting technician at NPARL and in July 2006 was promoted to the Administrative Officer position.
