Photoengravers—-Photograph copy, develop negatives, and prepare photosensitized metal plates, such as copper, zinc, aluminum and magnesium for use in printing.

Lithographers—-Sketch designs and numbers on metal, stone, clay or glass with or without specifications, and engrave plates for printing scale parts, using lithographic, photoengraving, and photolithographic techniques. Plates may be used in lithographic press to print descriptive material and designs on tinplate and other fabricated metal products. The main groups of lithographic workers are Camera-people who make photographic copy; Artists who retouch negatives; and Strippers who make layouts.
