Federal Labor Administrative Materials Database

The Federal Labor & Employment-Federal Labor Administrative Materials (FLB-ADMIN) database on Westlaw combines several of the labor databases into one searchable source. Some of the databases in this combined source are Employees Compensation Appeals Board (FLB-ECAB), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (FLB-EEOC), National Labor Relations Board (FLB-NLRB), Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission (FLB-OSRC) and the Wage Appeals Board (FLB-WAB). For a complete listing of the individual databases, make sure you click on the scope button (green circle with the exclamation mark in the center). Dates of coverage are different for each federal agency so a list of the sources with their start date is provided as well.

Subjects that can be searched in this Westlaw database are arbitration and mediation, equal employment opportunity, job discrimination, labor unions and unemployment compensation.

Note: Some of the databases display the documents from the search in reverse chronological order. For a list of these databases, see "Tip" in the scope section. Also, the individual databases have diverse search fields so be careful with field search terms such as TI for Title or CI for citation as you may exclude some documents from databases that do not have all the specific fields.
