and health topics. They are highly illustrated and use graphical menus. The
following eTools have been translated into Spanish.
- Construction:
Preventing Fatalities eTool
(eTool de Construcción - La Prevención De Fatalidades). OSHA (translation
updated 2006).
Despite its high fatality rate, construction can be a safe occupation when
workers are aware of the hazards, and use an effective safety and health
program. This eTool will help you identify and control the hazards that
commonly cause the most serious construction injuries.
- Ergonomics:
Sewing and Related Procedures eTool
(La Costura y Procedimientos Relacionados: Ergonomía. OSHA (2002). This
eTool provides example ergonomic hazards and solutions specific to workers
in the sewing industry.
