Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge has many recreational opportunities for people who love the outdoors. Activities to enjoy here include hunting, fishing, bird watching and wildlife photography.

The headquarters and Lake Tewaukon are located 5 miles south of Cayuga on County Road 12. The Sprague Lake unit is located 2 miles southwest of Rutland.
