NYSEG is a subsidiary of Energy East Corporation, a super-regional energy services and delivery company in the Northeast. NYSEG serves 1.1 million electricity and natural gas customers across more than 40% of upstate New York. Through their commitment to PESP, they are working with the Edison Electric Institute Vegetation Management Taskforce to implement a strategy for reducing pesticide risk. Their strategy specifically addresses integrated vegetation management in their rights-of-way transmission lines.
