of the St. Lawrence River. Starting with their first power project, St.
Lawrence-FDR, theyve included parks, wildlife areas and other conservation
and recreational features as part of their development plans, setting
the standard for other electric utilities throughout the United States.

programs are attracting international attention as they continue their
mission to meet the publics need for economical electricity while
protecting the environment.NYPA's stakeholders, the people of New York,
have a genuine regard for the states natural resources; accordingly,
the Power Authority is committed to performance excellence while maintaining
our tradition of respect for the environment.
