Junior Explorer

Junior Explorer logoBLM Junior Explorers are dedicated to learning about and protecting America’s public lands.

The games and puzzles in this Activity Booklet have been prepared especially for Junior Explorers who want to learn more about the cultural resources on BLM lands. Cultural resources are those things and structures made by people. Some of them were made a long time ago, and they provide important clues to our past. Learn about these resources and about why it’s important for Junior Explorers—and everyone else—to protect them.

You can print out the whole booklet or individual pages. Play the games, answer the questions…and check your answers. (Don’t peek until you’ve given it your best try!)

If you complete all the activities in the booklet, show an adult your answers and discuss what you’ve learned. Then, say the Junior Explorer pledge, sign the certificate…and you’re on your way to exploring America ’s public lands! Have fun!
