The Teacher Follow-up Survey (TFS) was sent the year following the SASS, to a subsample of teachers who responded to the SASS Teacher Questionnaire. The Questionnaire for Former Teachers was sent to teachers who leave the teaching profession between administrations of one year's SASS Teacher Questionnaire and the subsequent TFS. The Questionnaire for Current Teachers was sent to those who continue to teach in the year following the SASS. Topics include information about respondents' teaching or other jobs, job satisfaction, reasons for dissatisfaction with teaching, and instructional methods.
