Objective:
The objective of this agreement is to launch long-term cooperation with the Colegio de PostGraduados (Colegio) within the framework of the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) by preserving at the National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation (NCGRP) plant germplasm samples to guarantee their conservation, and also for the purpose of joint study, commencing with the preservation of seeds of Pinus radiata (commonly known as radiata or Monterey pine).

Approach:
NCGRP and Colegio will establish a general framework for expanding cooperation and exchange of information and plant materials, commencing with the preservation of seeds of Pinus radiata (commonly known as radiata or Monterey pine). The Colegio will seek to develop methods, technologies, and opportunities that would serve conservation interests.
