Office Tour Information |
Tours are available to the Los Angeles/Oxnard office for schools and the general public. You will be shown the inner workings that go into the everyday operations of a weather forecast office. This includes a demonstration of our advanced weather forecasting and observing systems, as well as the presentation of typical weather conditions of the area.
If you would like to request a tour, or find out more information, please use the "contact information" to get in touch with us.
Please note that due to the nature of our operations, tours may need to be cancelled at the last minute if hazardous weather situtations arise.

Open House |
Every few years we conduct an office open house...where we open everything up to the public. This is a great time to come by and visit the office and learn more about your local National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office.
Our last Open House was on May 30 and 31 of 2008. We had over 800 visitors come through the office.
Thanks to all that stopped by! See some of the pictures below.
Day 1: Schools Visit
Day 2: Open To All
