Monocacy National Battlefield Visitor Center

The interactive and multimedia exhibits located in the Visitor Center include numerous vignettes which take the visitor to important locations related to the Battle as well as electronic maps, historical artifacts and interpretive displays of the Battle of Moncacy. A bookstore also offers literature which provides in-depth discussions of the Civil War and the Battle of Monocacy as well as memorabilia for sale.

Auto Tour and Walking Trails

Stop at the visitor center for directions to the Best Farm parking area, Worthington Farm Trails, Thomas Farm Trails and Gambrill Mill Trail. Also, pick up a map and guide for the Auto Tour of the battlefield area with directions to the five monuments. more...
