Module 3: Conducting a Safety & Health Checkup

Now that you've reviewed the components of a safety and health system, you can assess your company’s safety and health system. The evaluation is divided into four sections:

1. Management Leadership/Employee
    Involvement

2. Worksite Analysis

3. Hazard Prevention and Control

4. Safety and Health Training
If you want to find out how your safety and health program measures up, take a few minutes to complete the following survey. For each section, there is a set of questions. Select the answer that most accurately reflects your workplace system. You will then be able to get a rating.

There are no right or wrong answers. This check-up will help identify areas where improvements can be made.

Go to the On-Line Evaluation

  • There is also a practice assessment for you to try. Go to Plant XYZ, a fictitious company.
After completing the check-up, go to Module 4 for tools and other information to help improve your safety and health system.
