• Human genetic/molecular genetic studies of single-gene or genetically complex kidney/urologic diseases
• Project Officer for the FIND (Family Investigation of Nephropathy & Diabetes) study
• Genomics and genetics studies of the kidney and GU tract in animal models
• Research related to rare familial calcium oxalate stone diseases, including support of the International Registry for Hereditary Calcium Stone Diseases
• Genetic and genomic tool development for humans and model organisms, including the non-mammalian model organisms
