Burn't Creek

General Location: 35 miles northwest of Arco, Idaho

Natural Features:  This WSA is administered by two field offices, the Challis Field Office and the Upper Snake Field Office (USFO). A portion of the WSA is adjacent to the 116,000-acre Borah Peak Roadless Area. The USFO portion of the WSA is 3,250 acres in size and is within the lower Dry Creek drainage which is predominantly natural. The general character of the landscape is open sagebrush and grass and rolling hills similar to thousand of acres of adjacent lands outside the WSA.

Total Acres: 24,980

Acres Supported by BLM for Wilderness Designation: A portion of the WSA (8,300 acres) all within the Challis Field Office and adjacent to the Borah Peak Roadless Area, is recommended suitable for wilderness.
