Monthly Catch Logs Are Now Mandatory!
(This requirement applies to BOTH Commercial Harvesters & Guides)

Catch logs are required because harvest data is needed to manage sustainable aquatic populations. Your cooperation in providing this information to our Resource Management Office is greatly appreciated.  On your logs, please record hours fished in each area even if no fish were caught. We ask that you record number of people fishing/harvesting, including guides or assistants who are actively fishing.

2008 Financial Reports: Reports were due by Jan 31, 2009. (Annual financial reporting is mandatory, and a condition of your business permit. Non-compliance may result in revocation of an existing permit or denial of a renewal request).

When applying for your permit, do not just mail your payment and updated copies of your licenses. We do not transfer application documents from your expired permit file. A complete new application is required when you renew your permit. If you will be submitting your application by mail, please check expiration dates on all of your licenses & registration documents to ensure they are the current versions, as receipt of expired documents frequently causes processing delays.

Checks or money orders made payable to the "National Park Service"  are acceptable forms of payment for your permit. Your social security number is required when paying by check or money order. You may also pay with cash at our headquarters office, although the exact amount will be required, as we do not have change-making capability.
