WRP Cumulative Contract Information

The following maps display information on Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) cumulative contracts and acres enrolled for the life of the Program.

This voluntary program provides landowners financial incentives and technical assistance for restoring wetland functions and values while maximizing wildlife habitat benefits on eligible land. Through WRP, the Natural Resources Conservation Service provides technical assistance to landowners to address wetland, wildlife habitat, water quality, and related natural resource concerns on their land in an environmentally sound and cost-effective manner. From FY-1992 through FY-2006, NRCS has enrolled 9,951 contracts covering more than 1,852,315 acres into the program. Click on each map's Data link for detailed information.
