Focal Species Needs Spreadsheet

The Migratory Bird Program developed a Focal Species Needs Spreadsheet as a tool to track accomplishments specific to the Service’s Focal Species Strategy. Only species which have been identified as a priority for a focal species campaign and where development of an action plan has been completed are included.

The objectives of the focal species spreadsheet are to:

(1) Track needs which are actively being addressed by the MBP and/or our partners;

(2) Provide an efficient tool to cross reference what needs are being addressed through our annual project templates;

(3) Provide an efficient tool to track funding spent on individual focal species and their specific needs; and

(4) Provide a tool for prioritizing needs for an individual focal species.
