| Section 416(b) of the Agriculture Act of 1949
authorizes the donation of CCC-owned commodities in surplus of domestic program
requirements to carry out programs of assistance in developing and friendly
countries. The commodities are made available for donation through
agreements with foreign governments, private volunteer organizations,
cooperatives, and the World Food Program. The Section 416(b) program is currently not
active, as there are no CCC-owned commodities available at this time. Please check back on this site for
