The DRCs in Tiffin and Forest are Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mobile facilities, but each will stay in one fixed location for its three-day visit. The DRCs at those locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 10-12 only.

The locations are:

"At the DRC, representatives from state, federal, and voluntary agencies, and the U.S. Small Business Administration, as well as mitigation experts will be available to answer questions and provide recovery information," said State Coordinating Officer Nancy Dragani of the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.

"The DRCs are there to help people who are hard at work getting their homes, their businesses and their lives back in order," said Federal Coordinating Officer Jesse Munoz of FEMA. "We encourage people to register first, then visit a DRC."

To register with FEMA:

On Sept. 4, Hardin and Seneca counties were added to the federal disaster declaration for Ohio, The counties in the original declaration were Allen, Crawford, Hancock, Putnam, Richland and Wyandot.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
