INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Disaster recovery services of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are being offered side by side with state services provided at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) offices of the Division of Family Resources.

FEMA disaster recovery staff will be available through Tuesday, September 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  The offices will be closed on Sunday.

Residents in these two counties with property damages from the recent storms and flooding are encouraged to call the FEMA teleregistration line before visiting a disaster recovery facility.  The number is 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).  Those with hearing or speech impairment may call TTY 1-800-462-7585.  Both numbers are available around the clock.

Residents may also register online at www.fema.gov.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
