I am writting to voice my support that existing laws about short selling of stock be enforced. I am particularly referring to the law that short sellers must possess the stock they are short selling and also the uptick rule that is supposed to prevent short sales when there is not an uptick in stock price.
These laws were created with valid purpose and they would help protect many investors in today's bear market. I support the enforcement of these protections against unchecked short-selling.
