I am an investor in LDK, a NYSE quoted company. As an investor I am concerned with the blatant naked shorting of this stock and the apparent complete lack of action being taken by the SEC on this matter. Are you not obliged to regulate the market and protect investor, particularly retail investors? What this situation amounts to is trading with counterfeit shares.....DO SOMETHING
I intend to start a dialogue on this whole matter with the press as it is clear the the SEC will do nothing unless pushed by public opinion and hopefully our legislature.
