I think it is high time that the SEC does their job. In 1998, I watched my first company forced into backruptcy by death spiral naked shorting ie. counterfiet shares. That is right I said counterfit. Our markets are dominated by counterfit shares. If this epidemic (FTD's) is not taken care of and the word of the illegality surrounding the trading practices being utilized gets out to the public our entire economy is at risk. This is very troubling when you consider that our government pilfers so much of the tax payers hard earned money and yet they can't even secure our borders or protect our securities markets. It is truly shameful.
