Back in the 90's, if you wished to short a stock, you had to borrow the shares first. Now, it is very, very obvious that with the relaxation of the rules, large Hedge Funds are taking advantage of the individual investor and manipulating the market, creating ghost shares, and artificially increasing the float.
Why is this being allowed? It makes no sense, and as an individual small investor, I have stopped investing, and until this is resolved, my money will stay in the bank where it is safe.
Please make traders borrow their shares first, and stop this unbelievable practice
