2007 Annual Report 1a.Objectives (from AD-416) Conduct scientific research and technical exchange on oilseed and edible oil processing technology. 1b.Approach (from AD-416) Identify mutually interested projects in the area of oilseed processing and vegetable oil refining methods and proceed with a plan for research and to conduct scientific exchange between the scientists at CAAMS and ARS. 3.Progress Report This reports serves to document research conducted under a Non-Funded Cooperative Agreement between ARS and Chinese Academy Agricultural Mechanization (CAAM). Additional information on this project may be found in the report for the in-house project 6435-41000-096-00D, "New and Expanded Uses of Oilseed Products and By-Products." This subordinate project is monitored through email correspondence. ARS plans to manage this project and conduct scientific research and technical exhange on oil seed and edible oil processing technology.
