Just writing in reference to the proposed repeal of the Grandfather clause on Reg SHO? Comment period ended on Sept 19, 2006. What is keeping the SEC from making a decision? I would be concerned that this issue has become so politicized that the public you were appointed to serve is being put behind large corporations: banks, brokers, etc.
Please act in behalf of common people who need people in positions of influence and power to watch over them as they were appointed to do.
I encouraged the repeal of this Grandfather clause.
